I tried my hardest to fit in, I tried my hardest to be the girl you always wanted me to be, I did the one thing I promised myself I would never do, I changed for you.
When I finally became the one you wanted, you didn’t want that any more.
Torn and heart broken, you left me for someone who I was.
Two things I learnt the day you walked out: 1. I should never have changed for you, never change for anyone. 2. If you loved me as much as you said you did, you would have never made me change.
